About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and launch of new cohort-based healthcare education programs from concept through implementation.
  • Research healthcare workforce trends, certification pathways, and competitive programs to inform program strategy.
  • Partner with instructional designers, faculty, and subject matter experts to develop and enhance curriculum, assessments, and learner experiences.
  • Support curriculum mapping, competency alignment, course sequencing, and assessment design.
  • Ensure instructional content aligns with academic quality standards, workforce needs, and learner outcomes.
  • Manage Penn Foster's day-to-day partnership with Springboard.
  • Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with external partners.
  • Represent Penn Foster in partner meetings and provide academic expertise and recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Academics, Product, Operations, Learner Experience, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Monitor learner performance, completion rates, certification outcomes, and program metrics.
  • Recommend enhancements to curriculum, learner engagement, and program effectiveness using research and data.
  • Support program launch readiness, ongoing operations, and continuous optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop presentations, reports, documentation, and communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs and partner requests.
  • Communicate recommendations, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions across diverse teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare education, academic program management, workforce development, or program development.
  • Experience supporting curriculum development or educational content creation.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and external partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with online, hybrid, or cohort-based learning programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare certification pathways and workforce education preferred.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory standards preferred.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Experience using learner and program data to drive continuous improvement preferred.
  • Successful completion of a role-specific assessment required.
  • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements, where applicable, required.
  • Completion of employment eligibility verification via Form I-9 required.
  • Ability to work in a remote, on-camera environment; employees are expected to be on camera during meetings unless extenuating circumstances apply.
