About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead library services and asynchronous learning supports for online community of learners.
Design, deliver, and assess virtual library services, instructional resources, and student support initiatives.
Collaborate with instructors, instructional designers, and academic leaders to integrate library resources into the learner experience.
Teach and assess information literacy courses to support student research skills.
Develop learning objects, tutorials, and instructional resources supporting research and information literacy.
Provide direct support to students through research consultations and instructional sessions.
Manage digital library resources and evaluate content for accessibility and alignment with institutional needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Library Science (MLS), or equivalent degree from an ALA-accredited program.
Experience designing and delivering online instruction, digital learning objects, or library services that support remote learners.
Experience providing virtual library services, academic support, or research assistance in online educational environments.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging instructional content and learner-centered support resources.
Strong technology skills, including the ability to learn and manage multiple digital platforms and systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a remote work environment.
Motivated, self-directed contributor with a clear vision for library services in online learning environments.
