About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Pharmacy Technician Instructor is responsible for providing instructional support to ensure students meet the established learning objectives.
- The instructor will provide one-on-one instructional support, responses to student’s academic inquiries using distance education technologies.
- Conduct outreach using distance education technologies to provide academic advising and support.
- Participate in curriculum design, including development and revision, and support the creation of student resources.
- Review program and course-level outcomes data and surveys to determine students' needs; provide data-driven interventions/outreach as needed.
- Check email daily and respond to students’ inquiries within 24 hours, complete grading within 5 business days.
- Participate in course design, development, and revision in partnership with the program director and instructional design team.
- Complete 12 hours of Professional Development per year.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) and adhere to state regulations and registration.
- Have a minimum of an Associate Degree
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a practice setting or area of expertise related to the area of Teaching.
- Classroom and/or online teaching experience preferred.
