About the role

Contribute to teams working on meaningful projects, such as transforming the enterprise customer experience by eliminating barriers to adoption, building AI agentic features, or delivering AI-powered insights
Build web infrastructure with programming languages such as Python, Golang or JavaScript using Vue
Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospective activities
Create a real impact on the engineering team(s) by working directly with Product, Design and your team in an Agile environment rapidly developing and releasing Pendo products to our customers
Receive mentorship and development via one-on-one time with senior engineering and product leaders
Candidates will be considered for Front End, Back End, or Operations Engineering Internship roles

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate full-time college degree program, preferably in computer science or a similar field with an expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate critical-thinking, time-management, and decision-making capabilities
Experience in at least one of the following: Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, Swift, Kotlin, or similar current programming languages
For Front End internship: Understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React or Angular
For Back End or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) internship: Understanding of distributed computing fundamentals like REST APIs and cloud computing (GCP, AWS and/or Azure)
For Back End or SRE internship: Understanding of/experience with cloud data storage like document databases
Preferred: Previous technical internship experience
Preferred: Familiarity with Python-based ML frameworks
Preferred: Experience integrating or experimenting with LLMs or APIs like OpenAI or LangChain
Preferred: Interest in building user-facing product features powered by AI or ML
Preferred: Familiarity with prompt engineering or working with vector databases
Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity about AI tooling and applying AI to real-world product experiences
