Residential Sales Consultant
Pella Windows & Doors of North Carolina and Southwest VirginiaResidential Sales Consultant for Pella selling windows and doors directly to homeowners. Conducting in-home consultations and managing customer relations in the Toledo area.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Selling Pella windows and doors directly to homeowners for replacement projects.
- Conduct in-home sales appointments by following a structured selling process to understand customer needs.
- Strive for first-time close and provide effective follow-up as needed to close remaining sales.
- Work with pre-scheduled qualified sales appointments scheduled 24 hours in advance within 1-2 hour driving distance.
- Maintain expertise in products/services relating to Pella’s customers and stay abreast of the competitive landscape.
- Actively represent Pella at company sponsored events and home shows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Individual’s motor vehicle record must also comply with company requirements.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of constant interruptions and be able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to read and analyze documents related to contracts and work documents.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and the general public.
- Must present a clean and neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code.
- Ability to solve practical and arithmetic problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must be able to drive to showrooms, job sites and customer/contractor locations.
