About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Observe and coach candidates enrolled in the PEBC Teacher Residency Program
  • Track, assess, and document candidate progress against program standards
  • Provide feedback on licensure and seminar coursework
  • Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction to develop, implement, and monitor candidate support and probation plans
  • Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with a Residency Team Director regarding candidate progress
  • Attend required Residency Team and Manager of Resident Development meetings
  • Maintain accurate records, communications, and evaluations related to candidate performance and progress

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education
  • 5+ years of classroom teaching
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting adult learners
  • Experience working with teacher residency, alternative licensure, or educator preparation programs
