About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own complex strategic workstreams and mid-size projects end-to-end
  • Structure problems, build fact bases, and synthesise findings into actionable recommendations
  • Conduct market research, competitive assessments, and market sizing exercises
  • Build financial models and business cases evaluating strategic options, assumptions, risks, and KPIs
  • Produce executive-ready presentations, memos, and briefing documents
  • Partner with product, commercial, finance, and corporate development colleagues on cross-functional initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and track strategic initiative progress
  • Contribute to Group Strategy planning processes
  • Mentor colleagues on analytical methods, frameworks, and communication best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a related field within a multinational or complex organisation
  • Proven ability to independently execute complex analyses and deliver structured, insight-driven recommendations across strategic projects
  • Strong financial modelling and business case development skills
  • Comfort working across ambiguous problem spaces and imperfect information
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency in producing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, and documents
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under time pressure
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills and ability to adapt analytical frameworks
  • Ability to build effective cross-functional and cross-level working relationships and work independently
  • Commercial understanding and ability to translate business drivers into strategic implications
  • Proactive learning approach and genuine interest in education, technology, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled edtech, skills ecosystems, or credential platforms is nice to have
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification welcome but not required
