About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer Pearson Virtual Schools’ public websites and content management systems
- Support content strategy, creation, maintenance, and administration for consumer-branded websites and performance landing pages
- Partner with internal teams and partner school representatives to understand audience needs and optimize pages for conversion goals
- Align content and creative work with creative and brand teams
- Conduct site audits, quality control, and testing and recommend improvements
- Ensure website content follows established style guidelines
- Collaborate with web development and UX teams on mobile and desktop digital experiences
- Identify opportunities for optimization testing and help design and implement A/B and multivariate tests
- Collaborate on SEO strategies and tactics
- Manage workflow for timely delivery of campaign initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of accessibility, mobile design, SEO, analytics, lead conversion, and related best practices
- Uphold brand, WCAG accessibility, and design standards
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sr. Manager of Web Content & Experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience in website marketing or digital marketing-related roles
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Previous experience with website content management systems; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
- Previous experience using website analytics reporting platforms; Google Analytics preferred
- Familiarity with A/B multivariate testing strategies and digital personalization tools
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to manage project schedules and resources and handle multiple projects with changing priorities
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and flexibly under multiple project deadlines
