About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the promotion of Pearson’s qualifications and resources across the region
  • Provide designated customers with excellent service, proactively managing customer expectations and resolving queries in a timely manner to secure revenue against agreed targets
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to support and undertake the annual plan for the management of key accounts and high-value prospects to maximize revenue and achieve growth targets
  • Generate and manage reports using Pearson systems to build an effective sales pipeline and analyse data across a variety of business parameters
  • Prepare and support the activities of the regional sales and marketing teams, including the coordination of relevant conferences and exhibitions
  • Provide cover and backup when sales team members are on annual leave or otherwise absent
  • Proactively grow product knowledge around Pearson products and services, the education landscape in the region, and factors influencing market development to present the best proposition for the customer

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to assimilate and deliver new information to a range of key decision-makers
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work are essential as you will be joining a team with ever-changing priorities
  • Attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling large volumes without sacrificing quality, are critical to be successful in this position
