About the role
- Pearson ELL Sales Representative drives revenue growth for Pearson's English Language Learning portfolio; field-based, hunter-style sales; territory management; and long-term customer relationships.
- Responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing usage of Pearson language learning products, platforms, and solutions.
- This is a remote/home-based outside sales role with approximately 65% travel; candidate should be based in New York.
- Build and expand long-term relationships with two- and four-year colleges, universities, adult education centers, and private language institutes; manage renewals and retention.
- Use Salesforce (OneCRM) for forecasting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, product specialists, and sales leadership to deliver program-wide solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of Pearson products, platforms, and trends in the language learning market.
- Achieve and exceed territory sales targets and grow Pearson’s market share in English Language Learning.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of outstanding sales performance in the adult education, higher education market, or a related industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems.
- Willingness to travel 3 to 4 days a week
- Reside in the State of New York
- Valid driver’s license
