Sales Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead on the annual and LRP strategy for growth
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the vocational education market.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners.
- Liaise and build relevant regulatory and other recognition within the territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer needs.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, and commercial performance reporting.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with educational institutions and corporate clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, ensuring they meet the specific needs of clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Deliver a culture of high performance and accountability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of vocational education and training systems.
- Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car as travel will be required.
- Proficiency at C1 level in English.
- Desirable: B2 proficiency in Swahili or French.
