About the role

  • Drive significant revenue growth by proactively identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities across the region
  • Focus on expanding customer base, forging new partnerships and accelerating the adoption of innovative products and services
  • Lead the acquisition of new business, targeting private training providers, employers, and employer groups to expand Pearson’s reach and impact
  • Deliver sustained revenue growth by actively seeking and converting new opportunities, alongside managing and growing existing accounts
  • Champion the introduction and sale of new products and digital services
  • Develop creative solutions and strategies to drive volume growth
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects, using Salesforce to track progress
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Customer Services, FE Sales and Assessment Services
  • Foster a ‘customer first’ culture
  • Contribute to divisional strategy, bringing market insights

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Apprenticeship sales or a related field
  • Knowledge of the Training Provider landscape across work-based learning sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car, as travel will be required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
