About the role
- Drive significant revenue growth by proactively identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities across the region
- Focus on expanding customer base, forging new partnerships and accelerating the adoption of innovative products and services
- Lead the acquisition of new business, targeting private training providers, employers, and employer groups to expand Pearson’s reach and impact
- Deliver sustained revenue growth by actively seeking and converting new opportunities, alongside managing and growing existing accounts
- Champion the introduction and sale of new products and digital services
- Develop creative solutions and strategies to drive volume growth
- Maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects, using Salesforce to track progress
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Customer Services, FE Sales and Assessment Services
- Foster a ‘customer first’ culture
- Contribute to divisional strategy, bringing market insights
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Apprenticeship sales or a related field
- Knowledge of the Training Provider landscape across work-based learning sectors
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car, as travel will be required
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom
