Content Manager

• Lead planning and development of content on Pearson’s primary marketing and e-commerce website
• Work closely with key stakeholders across Pearson, from designers to marketers to product developers
• Act as lead facilitator or collaborator depending on project
• Drive overall content strategy considering business strategy, user personas, data analytics, competitive analysis
• Foster effective relationships with UX and UI designers
• Translate high-level goals and strategy into specific words on the page
• Create content for specific projects and support other content creators by establishing and promoting best practices for web content
• Manage and govern content to ensure quality and brand consistency
• Influence copy production and distribution aligned with TOV guidelines
• Establish KPIs to assess content effectiveness and iterate based on feedback
• Prioritize accessibility and inclusivity in all written materials
• Tailor content development based on user personas and journey mapping
• Demonstrate/advise on content modeling processes and structured content organization within a headless environment
• Attend and assist in research and usability testing, a/b or multivariate tests
• Take responsibility for content quality, process documentation, and on-time delivery of the team’s work
• Lead projects with confidence, empathy, quality, and efficiency
• Promote exchange of learning, best practice and new ideas
