About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner directly with mortgage advisors to prepare complete, high-quality loan application packages, review documentation for accuracy, and assist with lender submissions.
Use Cowork skills to generate accurate mortgage outputs, maintain comprehensive file/diary notes, and draft clear lender communications.
Maintain precise client records and ensure documentation meets business, lender, and regulatory compliance standards.
Leverage AI tools in daily operations to support AI-assisted outputs.
Identify manual inefficiencies and contribute to creating, testing, and refining AI agents and workflow automations, including Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Power Platform.
Manage a fast-paced, high-volume pipeline, prioritize tasks independently, and anticipate advisor needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4–5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Writer, Loan Processor, Mortgage Administrator, or Parabroker.
Strong direct experience with New Zealand mortgage lending processes and loan-writing workflows.
Exceptional applicants with deep Australian mortgage experience combined with UK or US lending backgrounds may be considered.
Demonstrated proficiency with Cowork skills to execute mortgage workflow outputs.
Exceptional written communication skills for lender correspondence, technical file notes, and client documentation.
Comfort incorporating AI tools into everyday business workflows and a track record of adapting quickly to new technologies.
High initiative, sound analytical judgment, and ability to work independently in a remote/offshore setup without step-by-step direction.
Preferred: experience building, configuring, or refining AI agents, automations, or system workflows.
Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft Power Platform.
Preferred: experience in business process transformations involving automated solutions.
Preferred: previous experience in an offshore or remote mortgage support environment.
