About the role

  • Oversee the operational performance of RNG and other tangential facilities
  • Ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure projects are operating within budget
  • Maintain operational and financial KPI dashboards; analyze operational and financial trends
  • Lead budgeting and operations planning in coordination with plant management and finance teams
  • Hire, onboard, oversee, and be accountable for the performance of Peaks plant managers
  • Reinforce a culture of safety and ensure compliance with policies
  • Implement process improvements across the organization
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of operational best practices
  • Support plant managers with emergency scenario planning
  • Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Support revenue optimization for the Peaks platform across RNG pathways
  • Support the development and execution of commercial strategy
  • Evaluate and implement value-added growth opportunities
  • Develop business cases and presentations for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in energy operations, engineering, project management, or a related role in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or industrial operations
  • Experience with RNG, biogas, waste-to-energy, or similar assets strongly preferred.
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and drives work forward independently.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and scaling a business.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution; adaptable, resilient, and energized by change
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and meticulous analytical capability
  • Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses and communicate complex concepts and data in an understandable manner to all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including writing, maintaining complex Excel formulas, and building PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams with a focus on operational, commercial and/or development objectives
  • Familiarity with the renewable fuels industry’s regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and common technologies
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
