About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be accountable for achieving ambitious targets in merchant acquisition and net revenue
  • Work directly with merchants to solve their payment challenges and assist in their growth from lead generation to account management
  • Lead your segment pipeline growth as per set targets and forecasting requirements
  • Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to the C-level
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Peach’s products and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Participate in key industry events to drive positive market awareness and build our presence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a strong history of reaching/exceeding targets
  • The ability to seek out new merchants, cold calling/lead generation, manage pipelines and close deals
  • The ability to build strategic executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders
  • A passion for helping to scale new technology businesses
  • The ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms
  • The ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the merchant gets the best service possible
  • Ability to keep internal systems up to date as per our SOPs
  • Experience in payments or e-commerce is highly preferable
  • A valid driving license in Mauritius is mandatory.
