About the role
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify, qualify, and reach potential merchants in the SME sector
- Proactively source and approach high-potential leads
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial outreach to closing
- Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners
- Handle inbound leads within your assigned region and tier
- Lead new merchants through the onboarding process
- Gather feedback on merchant needs, market trends, and competitive insights
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong emphasis on proactive outbound strategies
- preferably within the online payments industry
- exceptional pipeline management skills
- the ability to accurately forecast and report on sales performance
- a master of consultative selling
- a self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, "scale-up" environment
- strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
