About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and increase sales of PDI product lines by assisting the field
- Follow the Territory Sales Manager's training curriculum, including field and advanced corporate training
- Develop effective presentations of all PDI products
- Coordinate and conduct in-services, educational events, and value-added programs at assigned accounts
- Coordinate with outsourced in-service providers and account contacts to maintain schedules
- Assist Territory Sales Managers with coordinating and monitoring product evaluations
- Support activity in open territories
- Expand knowledge through educational programs, seminars, conferences, journals, and committee or group programs
- Prepare for large meetings by creating presentations and preparing sample packs and literature
- Assist at large meetings
- Assist the Regional Sales Director with cross references and pricing
- Analyze GPO reports to identify tier-level cleanup opportunities
- Provide GPO report summaries to the Territory Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director
- Maintain back-office activities, including SFDC and reporting, up to date
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel 80% as necessary, including overnight and weekends
- Strong communication skills (phone, written, and verbal)
- Customer-focused
- Strong drive for results, action-oriented, strong work ethic, and career ambition
- Ability to develop and present complex product demonstrations
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship
