HR Generalist
PCSHR Generalist responsible for employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration at PCs for People. Supporting onboarding, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Manager, People & Culture for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace concerns
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues with objectivity, empathy, and confidentiality
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, equipment coordination, orientation, and data entry
- Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding workflow
- Support managers and employees with continuous feedback program ensuring performance feedback is regularly discussed and captured
- Collaborate on initiatives that drive employee morale, diversity, equity, inclusion, and a positive, safe workplace culture
- Primary responsibility to oversee daily benefits administration (enrollment, changes, and open enrollment support)
- Primary responsibility for timecard review and management including accurate tracking for leaves, hours and compensation adjustments
- Support maintenance and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and tracking metrics are accurate
- Primary responsibility for all recruiting including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews and job offers
- Manage pre-employment screening processes
- Ensure the organization remains in strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA)
- Maintain accurate, secure, and up-to-date digital employee files
- Maintain NAID & R2 compliance documentation
- Other duties as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in human resources with increasing responsibility
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP highly preferred
- Solid understanding of multi state HR compliance, laws and regulations
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, and project coordination abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to take constructive feedback and collaborate across departments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet compliance deadlines, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment
