About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and edit the work of Deals colleagues according to editorial standards
  • Research, vet, and write deals content, verifying accuracy and editorial best practices, including documentation
  • Help maintain a workflow for identifying new and updated deals content
  • Collaborate closely with Edit colleagues across teams and time zones
  • Think critically – As an editor, it’s crucial that you’re a critical thinker who can identify and escalate potential issues, make suggestions, quickly adopt learnings, and follow-up with team members and leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of editing experience or commensurate, preferably in service journalism
  • 2+ years of writing experience or commensurate, preferably in service journalism
  • Able to handle multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Comfortable getting into the weeds on topics you are not an expert in, to ensure submitted writing is accurate and authoritative
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of standard hours to support business needs during major events
