About the role
- Identify and pursue new affiliate partnerships (Direct and Network) to grow your portfolio and generate revenue streams across tech and consumer goods.
- Manage a portfolio of affiliate accounts, ensuring high-quality service, timely optimizations, and the cultivation of long-lasting relationships.
- Consistently work toward meeting sales targets and showcasing growth, using data to recommend flat-fee placements and CPA optimizations.
- Develop an understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to consult clients on how CNET’s content surfaces in search and AI-driven environments.
- Partner closely with internal Affiliate Operations, Editorial, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure the seamless execution of commerce solutions.
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, providing regular forecasting and progress tracking to management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of digital sales experience, with at least 1–2 years specifically focused on Affiliate Marketing.
- Familiarity with the affiliate industry, including experience with major networks (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.) and various commission structures.
- A strong interest in SEO/GEO trends is a major plus, as these drive the visibility of our affiliate-led content.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present confidently to partners and internal teams.
- You lead by example and are known for owning your work while treating everyone with respect and kindness.
