About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Win new customers: You independently identify new opportunities within the enterprise segment, proactively reach out to prospects, and convince C-level decision-makers of our tailored cloud solutions.
  • Expand & maintain customer relationships: You actively develop existing client relationships, identify cross- and upsell opportunities, and strategically position the full AWS portfolio in the market.
  • C-level interface: You act as a trusted advisor for IT decision-makers at management level and translate complex technologies into tangible business value.
  • Activate the AWS network: You leverage your contacts within the AWS ecosystem, strengthen relationships with AWS Account Managers and Partner Sales Managers, and use joint programs to ensure project success.
  • Teamwork: You work closely with our pre-sales and delivery teams to ensure proposals are perfectly aligned with customer needs and our delivery capabilities.
  • Transparent pipeline management: You reliably maintain your deals and leads in our systems, creating a dependable planning basis for the entire team.
  • Show presence: You are regularly on-site for important client meetings, trade shows and exclusive networking events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales: You bring solid professional experience and demonstrable success in selling complex IT projects and are skilled at closing high-volume deals in the large-customer segment.
  • Excellent network: You have strong AWS connections and an established network of relevant contacts within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Cloud understanding: You possess a sound technical understanding of cloud solutions. You don’t need to provide deep technical consultancy but can clearly communicate value during a pitch.
  • Hunter mentality: You have a true "closer" instinct and aren’t afraid to pick up the phone to actively build new pipelines.
  • Team player: Sustainable project success matters more to you than a quick deal. You collaborate with the delivery organization and demonstrate a reliable working style.
  • Language skills: You communicate fluently in German and English, with business/negotiation-level proficiency.
