About the role
- Project setup & planning: You create and align the detailed project plan with the team and the client.
- Team and resource management: In coordination with the Tech Lead, you assemble the project team and manage overall time and resource planning.
- Controlling & monitoring: You actively track project progress, control time and materials, and report regularly to all stakeholders (team & client).
- Project leadership & facilitation: You lead key meetings such as onboarding sessions, status meetings and retrospectives.
- Commercial responsibility: You handle commercial matters during the project and the handover to the back office at project close.
- Success measurement (KPIs): You ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget and quality, and high planning accuracy. You escalate to the BU leader when necessary.
Requirements
- A completed degree or vocational qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration) — however, proven experience in IT project management is more important than the formal qualification.
- Practical experience delivering IT projects whose success is directly reflected in positive user impact.
- Very good German and English, both written and spoken, for working with our DACH clients and colleagues.
- Proven experience leading complex IT projects.
- Ability to clearly distinguish and prioritize personnel and commercial concerns versus technical delivery responsibility (Tech Lead).
- Knowledge of IT architecture is a plus.
Benefits
- Pure flexibility: Work the way that fits your life — remotely anywhere in Germany, hybrid, or from one of our offices in Germany (Magstadt, Darmstadt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Ulm, Heidelberg, Frankfurt).
- Workation: Want to work and discover new places? Use up to 30 days of workation per year to combine work and adventure.
- Time off: Recharge with 30 days of vacation per year.
- Your hardware, your choice: Mac, Windows or Linux — you decide your preferred setup.
- Career development: Trainings, labs and certifications with AWS, Azure, Google & SAP — we boost your cloud expertise.
- Feedback that matters: Regular development and salary reviews so you always know where you stand.
- More than the basics: Choose between a Spendit Card, Wellpass or a Deutschlandticket. In addition, childcare subsidy and bike leasing are available as extra benefits for life beyond the laptop.
- Team spirit: Whether team events, summer party or Christmas celebration — we celebrate successes together.
