About the role

  • Grow distribution and market share in assigned area of operations
  • Drive visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Soundbox deployment and sales
  • Identify, recruit and align the sales team to drive market business
  • Plan market size, span and geographies for ASMs
  • Communicate plans/targets to minimize expectations vs delivery gap
  • Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management
  • Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales by the team
  • People manage a large team of 5-10 ASMs and 200+ indirect employees
  • Travel extensively within the specified area to oversee operations

Requirements

  • 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
  • MBA (Marketing)
  • Experience managing large teams (5-10 ASMs and 200+ indirect employees)
  • Strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively
  • Coaching and mentoring skills; quick learner
  • Self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions to novice customers
  • Good sales and negotiation skills; experience in quota-driven sales
  • Experience in payments and finance is a plus
  • Experience recruiting and building sales teams
  • Ability to plan market size, span and geographies for ASMs
  • Experience conducting audits and validating acquisitions and sales
  • Monitor quality parameters and ensure accountability
