About the role

  • Administers day-to-day benefits and leave processes, including enrollments, terminations, claims, COBRA, FMLA, disability, and employee support.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employee benefits and leave questions, providing timely, clear, and supportive guidance.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential employee, benefits, and leave records.
  • Supports compliance with benefits and leave regulations, escalating issues as needed.
  • Assists with 401(k) administration and supports global retirement and pension programs.
  • Partners with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, and timely processing.
  • Coordinates benefits billing, reconciliations, standard reporting, and approvals.
  • Works with brokers and vendors to support ongoing administration and issue resolution.
  • Reviews file feeds and reports, flags discrepancies, and takes routine action.
  • Supports global benefits administration by assisting with employee inquiries and program operations across regions.
  • Documents and maintains benefits and leave procedures and supports employee-facing communications.
  • Identifies small, practical process improvements while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Provides backup support for compensation analyst on total rewards team.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in benefits and/or leave administration, or equivalent HR experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of U.S. benefits and leave regulations (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA).
  • Nice to have: exposure to self-funded medical plans.
  • Nice to have: Experience administering global benefit programs
  • Experience administering benefits in ADP or a similar HRIS.
  • Strong communicator with a service-first mindset who enjoys supporting employees and answering questions.
  • Experience working with brokers, vendors, or insurance carriers in a support role.
  • Able to manage recurring processes, deadlines, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and reliable—the kind of person people trust to get things done.
  • Nice to have: Certifications (CEBS, PHR, SPHR).
