About the role

  • Being the voice of the developer to drive changes/improvements in SDKs, APIs, Docs and web to enable developers to quickly onboard and transact
  • Creating technical blogs, videos, demos, and tutorials
  • Being the developer advocate by speaking at developer conferences, hackathons, local meet ups, and PayPal’s developer events, and facilitating webinars and tutorials
  • Develop deep trust with developers and encourage evangelism and advocacy from external developers
  • Build and distribute tools and automation to gain efficiencies

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in frontend and web commerce technologies, including frameworks, API and SDKs
  • Developer focused AI tools, such as Replit and Copilot
  • Broad knowledge of PayPal products and services and its ecosystem
  • Broad knowledge of leading open-source tools and frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to simplify complex architectures and solutions providing an easy to developers no matter their background
  • Excited about coaching and mentoring others
  • Able to drive cross-team and cross-functional collaboration to solve problems, innovate and improve developer’s experience
  • Experience in non-technical aspects including business analysis and process optimization
