About the role
- Being the voice of the developer to drive changes/improvements in SDKs, APIs, Docs and web to enable developers to quickly onboard and transact
- Creating technical blogs, videos, demos, and tutorials
- Being the developer advocate by speaking at developer conferences, hackathons, local meet ups, and PayPal’s developer events, and facilitating webinars and tutorials
- Develop deep trust with developers and encourage evangelism and advocacy from external developers
- Build and distribute tools and automation to gain efficiencies
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in frontend and web commerce technologies, including frameworks, API and SDKs
- Developer focused AI tools, such as Replit and Copilot
- Broad knowledge of PayPal products and services and its ecosystem
- Broad knowledge of leading open-source tools and frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to simplify complex architectures and solutions providing an easy to developers no matter their background
- Excited about coaching and mentoring others
- Able to drive cross-team and cross-functional collaboration to solve problems, innovate and improve developer’s experience
- Experience in non-technical aspects including business analysis and process optimization
