About the role

  • Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for PayPal’s Consumer Credit products
  • Develop forecasts and conduct financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making
  • Support planning and forecasting processes and review business performance on regular cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs and summarize insights
  • Produce executive-level presentations
  • Work closely with finance and technical teams to drive process and system improvements
  • Facilitate discussions with various stakeholders, manage expectations, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Consult with finance leads to review and discuss key issues, risks, and dependencies for assigned initiatives
  • Document and escalate potential risks/issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies and support implementation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field)
  • Preferred: MBA, CFA, CPA are a plus
  • 3+ years of progressive FP&A/Finance career experience (corporate FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, PE, consulting) (preferred)
  • Experience in financial services, capital markets, fintech, banking, and/or lending (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (VBA experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated excellence in financial modeling (3 statement) and Excel
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to synthesize insights
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Technical competence with accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Strong experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
  • Persistent curiosity and desire to learn
