About the role
- Provide vertical and client insights that inform multi-year strategy and investment themes
- Synthesize client usage, market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback into actionable insights.
- Own specific payment verticals, helping to define and deliver success of PayNearMe and our clients in the vertical
- Lead discovery on new product features and capabilities to help drive growth within the defined vertical and across the organization
- Partner with Product Managers to help align roadmaps across the core platform.
- Engage with strategic clients to understand needs, validate opportunities, and influence direction.
- Communicate product vision and priorities and how they connect to the product vision, across teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with GTM teams to support strategic initiatives and market positioning.
- While not responsible for delivery of the features contained within the roadmap, work with the GTM teams on positioning and pricing of new features based on market needs and trends.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends and emerging opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including strategic or platform-level work.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics in fintech, payments, bill pay, or related industries.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially with senior leadership.
- Proven ability to drive clarity, make strategic tradeoffs, and align teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting market data and client insights.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for solving complex, cross-functional problems.
