Design and operation of backend services for the payroll platform.
Integration of LLMs into production services: prompt engineering and API orchestration.
Own and evolve cloud infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi.
Run Kubernetes in production: deploy, scale, debug, and optimize services.
Take full ownership of observability: monitoring, alerts, and dashboards to keep production healthy.
Automate workflows: identify and implement automation opportunities.

Requirements

Proven excellence in at least one backend programming language.
Deep AWS experience (EKS, S3, RDS, Bedrock).
Strong Kubernetes expertise in production environments.
Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or Pulumi.
CI/CD pipeline design (GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Experience with LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), embedding models, and AI orchestration patterns.
Demonstrated experience shipping AI-powered features to production.
