About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the overall HCM sales strategy to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
- Drive net-new business acquisition while expanding existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy across all segments.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive trends within the HCM landscape.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top-performing HCM sales talent.
- Coach sales managers and individual contributors through structured performance management.
- Establish sales methodologies, KPIs, and best practices to improve conversion rates and productivity.
- Personally engage in executive-level sales opportunities and key account negotiations.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives, CHROs, HR leaders, CFOs, and procurement stakeholders.
- Collaborate with solution consultants to create compelling business cases and ROI analyses.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and forecast attainment.
- Present regular business reviews to executive leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
- 8+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
- 5+ years leading sales teams within HCM, HR technology, payroll, workforce management, benefits, or related SaaS industries.
- Demonstrated success exceeding quota and leading teams to achieve revenue targets.
- Experience selling into SMB and Mid-Market organizations.
- Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
- Expertise with consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and sales enablement technologies.
