About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational leadership for large enterprise-scale technology organizations
- Accelerate adoption of AI-driven solutions and modern data platforms across products
- Develop senior engineering leaders and foster a culture of high performance, innovation, engagement, and continuous improvement in Paychex India
- Lead technology delivery across multiple lines of business, owning delivery excellence and operational stability
- Define and execute AI enablement strategy, ensuring compliance with Responsible AI principles
- Own strategic leadership of data engineering platforms supporting AI, analytics, and enterprise reporting
- Promote strong engineering practices including CI/CD, test automation, and operational excellence
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term capability development across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 18 years of enterprise software engineering experience
- 6+ years leading Engineering Managers and senior technical teams
- Strong background in Java-based, large-scale systems
- Proven experience driving AI and data platform transformations
- Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, data engineering architectures, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
