Develop data integration processes to support Paychex data initiatives aimed at assuring accuracy and consistency of critical business data across systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, and SQL databases.
Perform data profiling and analysis using enterprise data tools to assess quality and cleanliness and identify opportunities to improve data quality.
Develop batch and streaming integration jobs using enterprise data platform and tools.
Learn source & destination platforms and develop ways to assure data quality is maintained and failures are monitored.
Document data integration and data quality results, requirements, proposed solutions, and code for traceability from requirements through implementation.
Develop data monitoring solutions based on defined data quality business rules.
Consult with infrastructure and application architects to integrate solutions consistent with Paychex architecture, standards, and Integration Best Practices.
Work with capacity planning and performance testing groups to ensure solutions meet Service Level Agreements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent work experience
3 years of experience in Software engineering with a focus on data integration and data processing
3 years of experience in SQL development
3 years of experience in SQL Server and Snowflake databases
3 years of experience in cloud data integration tools (Informatica Intelligent Cloud services experience preferred)
2 years of experience in cloud technologies
Experience with Salesforce preferred
Experience with Scribe ETL tool, Zuora cloud billing platform, and C# development nice-to-have
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Demonstrates problem solving skills
Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
