About the role
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate within the organization
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, working collaboratively with internal teams and/or the assigned Account Manager to address issues promptly and ensure timely resolution
- Execute strategic account plans with assigned Account Manager to drive customer retention, upsell opportunities, and revenue growth, leveraging your understanding of client goals and challenges
- Maintain regular communication with clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to provide updates, gather feedback, and strengthen relationships – with the goal of responding to all emails within 4 business hours
- Stay informed about our products, services, and industry trends to effectively educate clients on new offerings and opportunities for business optimization
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, implementation, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment on client priorities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, product enhancements, and service innovations based on client feedback and market trends
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience in customer service/success or a related role, with a proven track record of success
- Two (2) years of experience working in background industry
- Proven experience in account management or customer service roles, preferably in a B2B environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and challenges
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute account plans to drive business results
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client demands and business priorities
- Exceptional presentation skills, written and verbal skills and strong listening skills
