About the role
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance fintech products.
- Define and implement the technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership by actively contributing to coding, code reviews, and system design.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure engineering best practices are followed, including secure coding, testing, and documentation standards.
- Guide architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Mentor and support engineering team members in their technical and professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement in development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, and frontend frameworks like React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience designing and building microservices-based systems and scalable cloud solutions.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Security-oriented mindset with knowledge of secure coding practices.
- Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
