About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate Merchant Underwriting & Onboarding assessment.
- Monitor Merchant portfolio to flag or identify suspicious activity.
- Analysis of Chargebacks and Fraud Data to ensure compliance with Card Scheme Regulations.
- Handle queries relating to prospective and existing merchants.
- Ensure adherence to Company and Card Scheme rules and policies.
- Investigate any transactional pattern that does not fit expected activity.
- Review and monitor Fraud and Chargeback levels as per regulations.
- Generate reports and insights regarding fraud and merchant activity.
- Continuous process improvement and sharing best practices.
- Perform continuous assessment of Credit Risk.
- Handle queries relating to prospective and existing merchants.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 year of hands-on experience within the payments industry.
- Experience with merchant onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Knowledge of card schemes requirements (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, AMEX).
- Ability to operate in a regulated environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teams.
- Experience within Acquiring, PSP, or Card Scheme environments is an advantage.
- Experience with underwriting tools such as WebShield or SimilarWeb is an advantage.
- Adaptability to evolving risk landscapes.
