About the role
- Design engaging, high-performing web pages that improve conversion rates and ensure a seamless and intuitive end-to-end user experience.
- Translate business goals and data insights into clear UX/UI solutions.
- Analyze existing website patterns, journeys, and funnels, proactively identifying UX/UI improvements.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors, and use insights to make informed design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
- Maintain, evolve, and scale our design system strategically, consistently, and sustainably.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure smooth design handoff and high-quality implementation.
- Build a components library in collaboration with engineers to achieve speed and flexibility in landing page creation.
- Work with SEO, Paid, Content, Graphic Designers, and other teams to ensure designs support growth and visibility.
- Contribute to A/B testing initiatives and iterate based on the results and user behavior.
- Ensure all designs comply with web accessibility standards to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
- Proactively suggest new ideas and improvements that elevate the overall user experience.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Web, Graphic or Interaction Design
- Experience as a UI/UX designer in the SaaS industry, preferably within fintech or payment solutions.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with payment technologies and trends in the fintech space can be advantageous given payabl.'s focus on payment solutions.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX Website design work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other optimization tools.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of front-end technologies to effectively communicate with developers is a bonus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex design challenges creatively while considering user needs and business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment typical of tech companies like payabl., which emphasizes agile development practices.
