About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy
- Lead all aspects of finance, including accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, payroll, tax, compliance, and financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth, investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and expansion initiatives
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and all applicable financial reporting requirements
- Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, capital allocation, and working capital optimization
- Lead the annual budgeting process and establish financial KPIs across the organization
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls, corporate governance, and risk management practices
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, insurance providers, and other financial partners
- Direct annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, customer agreements, and vendor partnerships from a financial perspective
- Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities
- Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and profitability
- Oversee financial planning for domestic and international operations, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization
- Prepare board presentations and executive-level financial analyses
- Monitor industry trends and identify financial opportunities and business risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 12–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a Vice President of Finance, Controller, CFO, or equivalent executive leadership role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and corporate finance
- Experience leading annual audits and managing banking relationships
- Experience managing multi-entity and international financial operations
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial management systems
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Experience in Healthcare IT, SaaS, medical imaging, or software technology companies
- Experience with recurring revenue and SaaS business models
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and subscription-based financial operations
- Experience with mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, or private equity-backed organizations
- Experience with QuickBooks or comparable ERP/accounting systems
