Senior Legal Counsel – Business Lawyer, SaaS/M&A
PaxaSenior Legal Counsel handling all significant legal issues for clients with flexibility of an external service provider. Driving internal legal workflows and client engagement as a legal support function.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are the legal engine who accompanies our clients as if we were their in‑house legal department
- You build trust, lead negotiations, manage contracts, data protection, compliance and other legal areas
- You help develop and maintain our internal legal workflows, standard contracts, knowledge bases and templates
- You contribute ideas on how to improve our work processes, tools and interfaces
- You are actively involved in shaping our service architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- First State Examination in Law or equivalent qualification (e.g., Master in Business Law) with above‑average grades
- At least 3–6 years of professional experience, ideally within a legal department or in‑house environment
- Experience in contract law, data protection and compliance; experience in employment law and corporate law is a plus
- Interest in process optimization, tools and automation
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and communicate effectively
- German (C2) and fluent English
