About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Channel Account Managers to support pre-sales conversations with Managed Service Providers
- Deliver technical demonstrations showcasing Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini, and related solutions
- Support partners with post-sale deployment and configuration guidance
- Provide technical validation
- Act as a subject matter expert for Google solutions across Australia
- Collaborate with sales, vendor, partner, and technical teams
- Help grow Google capability across Pax8
- Create confidence through enablement, technical advocacy, and practical thought leadership
- Build and strengthen Pax8’s Google technical presence in Australia
- Help partners understand and adopt Google solutions
- Help internal teams position Google solutions effectively
- Improve the marketplace experience for Managed Service Providers and small businesses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive pre-sales technical experience in a Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Proven experience with Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini, or the wider Google ecosystem
- Considerable cloud technology knowledge
- Experience with Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services
- Confidence presenting technical concepts clearly, engagingly, and practically
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and build expertise through self-directed learning
- Ability to collaborate across sales, technical, vendor, and partner teams
- Experience supporting Managed Service Providers, channel partners, or technology resellers is highly valuable
- Ability to simplify complex technical ideas for partners
- Full-time working rights in Australia
- Valid right to work in Australia
- Successful candidates must complete pre-employment ID verification, reference, and qualification checks
