About the role

  • Responsible for P&L and balance sheet accounting for assigned areas to include journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and schedules
  • May include job costing, calculating and recording percent of completion (POC)
  • Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and balance sheet); resolve in an expeditious manner
  • Prepare month end intercompany account reconciliation, communicate and resolve intercompany out of balances
  • Prepare business process documentation for core activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Experience in job costing
  • Experienced in complex accounting matters and in applying US GAAP
  • Experience in the application of accrual accounting for hard month-end close cut-off
  • Demonstrates strong Excel skills and analytic thinking
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to identify and implement process optimization strategies
