About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading and executing fleet asset strategy under the direction of the Director of Fleet.
Focus on asset acquisition, lifecycle planning, valuation, location tracking, deployment, disposal, and understanding equipment build specifications.
Partner with the Director of Fleet to refine asset strategies, support capital planning, and drive innovation.
Execute lifecycle plans in alignment with strategy set by the Director of Fleet.
Maintain real-time visibility of asset whereabouts, project assignment, and operational status.
Track total cost of ownership and identify underperforming assets for corrective action.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
7+ years’ experience in fleet, heavy equipment, procurement, asset lifecycle management, or related operational leadership
Experience evaluating and implementing alternative equipment strategies including rent, lease, RPO, and ownership models
Proven ability to negotiate high-value equipment purchases, leases, and vendor contracts
Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
