About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Screening, valuation and prioritization of M&A and partnership opportunities as well as conducting market and target analyses
Preparation of business cases, company valuations and financial models to support strategic decisions
Preparation of management and board materials and creation of impactful presentations
Support and management of M&A processes including due diligence, advisor coordination, as well as integration and divestiture projects
Independently performing analyses of market, competitor and company developments
Contributing to strategic projects and initiatives in Corporate Development
Project management and coordination of cross-functional project teams across the entire project lifecycle
Supporting the Director Corporate Development, the Executive Board and management on strategic issues and business development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a comparable field
3–6 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Transaction Services or strategy consulting
Solid knowledge of company valuation, financial modeling and business case development
Strong analytical and conceptual skills and a good understanding of strategic and financial interrelationships
Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
High level of initiative, entrepreneurial mindset and a structured, results-oriented working style
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Strong communicator with a confident manner when dealing with management and internal interfaces
