About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage a content calendar across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, balancing educational, promotional, and behind the scenes content
- Establish and protect a consistent brand voice, visual style, and posting cadence
- Turn technical restoration topics (water mitigation, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, insurance claims) into content that builds trust with homeowners, adjusters, and property managers
- Capture and produce photo and video content on active job sites, in the office, and with our crews, including before and after transformations and team spotlights
- Create posts that show our team's personality and culture in a way that still reflects well on the business
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages in a timely and on brand manner
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategy to support brand awareness and lead generation goals
- Work with leadership to align social content with sales, marketing, and recruiting priorities
- Use good judgment around timing and tone given the nature of our work
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 or more years managing social media accounts for a business, preferably in construction, home services, insurance, or a related trade
- A track record of growing an account's following and engagement, with examples or a portfolio you can share
- Strong photography and video skills, including basic editing (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express)
- Ability to write both professional and casual copy, and to know which one a post calls for
- Comfort with scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Later
- A sharp eye for visual consistency across a feed
- Self motivated and organized, able to plan content weeks in advance while staying flexible
- Genuine comfort talking with crew members and clients on site to gather stories and footage
