Responsible for systematically collecting and analyzing relevant pricing and costing information
Maintain costing on assigned groups of materials
Determine what gaps exist in current reporting and analysis and develop a strategy to obtain missing information
Monitor price/margins within SAP and B/W for all products and classifications
Monitor pricing assumptions and report any potential or real risks and develop a written strategy to mitigate those risks
Continually review pricing data for the market and project potential impact associated with trends
Maintain training program for managers and sales people in margin management principles and using pricing tools to maximize profit margin
Work with the training team to ensure proper training for field and inside sales representatives
Perform other Margin Analyst duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience and education
At least 3 years purchasing and planning experience in related industry
An aptitude for data management
Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously
Able to solve problems
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Must be a self-starter, detailed oriented, and have the ability to work independently
A strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position
At least 5 years of cost or market pricing experience preferred
At least 5 years of experience in the animal health market preferred
At least 2 years market analysis experience preferred
Presentation and training experience highly desirable
Skills such as Python, SQL, Macros, and Machine Learning
