About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Screen products for compliance across global ecommerce marketplaces—reviewing labels, formulations, claims, and certifications against requirements for each target market
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of international regulatory requirements spanning global markets (Americas, EU, MENA, APAC), ecommerce platforms, fulfillment models, and high-risk product categories
  • Oversee compliance projects by vetting and managing 3rd-party regulatory agencies, coordinating with brands and internal teams, and holding partners accountable to timelines and quality standards
  • Manage company licensing for Pattern's Canadian warehouse, including site licenses, MDELs, and QA processes for imported products
  • Develop and own regulatory compliance SOPs, train cross-functional teams and brands, and assess risk to inform business expansion decisions across new markets and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' minimum regulatory compliance experience in a high-risk product category covering US and international requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply global regulations; proven research, risk assessment, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong judgment and a commitment to ethics
  • Preferred: experience with dietary supplements/VMS, cosmetics, OTC drugs, or children's products in EU, UK, CA, CN, or AU markets
  • Preferred: experience submitting product registrations or applications to regulatory bodies (FDA, Health Canada, EPA, CPSC, etc.)
