About the role

  • Support Accounts Payable processes, by reconciling expenses, preparing documentation and helping with DATEV exports
  • Assist with the monthly and yearly closing process and help improve and automate recurring workflow
  • Support financial analysis tasks, such as plan vs. actual comparisons and cost center tracking
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and reporting, including tasks related to investor reporting
  • Work with financial data in Excel and Google Sheets and help maintain consistency, clarity and usability across datasets
  • Support automation and process improvement topics and support broader Finance Team projects

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Strong interest in practical finance work
  • Very good understanding of finance or accounting concepts
  • High level of attention to detail with a structured and reliable way of working
  • Proactive mindset and ability to learn quickly
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Confident using Excel (advanced level)
  • Affinity for data and analytical tasks
  • English at a professional level (C1+) and German at least at B1 level
  • Nice to have: Prior experience with DATEV, Finway and Google Suite as well as with process automation
