About the role

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for quality and releases
  • Act as the central escalation point for quality or safety risks
  • Shape QA standards, test concepts, and processes in collaboration with the CTPO, Product, and Engineering teams
  • Define, maintain, and prioritize test strategies, test concepts, and test cases across mobile apps (iOS/Android), backend, hardware, and web
  • Perform hands-on testing, especially for critical and security-relevant features
  • Continuously develop QA strategy, quality standards, and testing processes
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external tests (rollouts, pilots, field tests, partner tests)
  • Own release quality, manage bug fixes and regression testing, and make final Go/No-Go decisions
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement them strategically

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including several years with release ownership and Go/No-Go decision-making
  • Strong hands-on testing skills, particularly with critical and security-relevant features and scenarios
  • Good experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) and a solid understanding of backend, hardware, and web systems
  • Experience defining, maintaining, and prioritizing test cases and test concepts
  • Structured, pragmatic working style with a high level of quality and sense of responsibility
  • Confident use of Jira, bug-tracking, test-management, and mobile-testing tools
  • Knowledge of web testing and test automation
  • Fluent German (at least C1) and good English (at least B2)
