About the role
- Support execution of PathAI’s business and academic partnerships, including strategic projects, external collaborations and internal initiatives.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of current project relationships and support development of new activities.
- Lead internal scientific strategy within disease areas and drive scientific and strategic development of company projects.
- Drive and uphold rigorous scientific standards, ensuring consistency of analyses and adequate review of discoveries.
- Apply cutting edge approaches to understand disease biology to improve precision medicine and biomarker development.
- Solve problems with machine learning and data science and oversee day-to-day technical developments.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate across product, design, engineering, machine learning, business operations, and infrastructure teams.
- Recommend and prioritize platform features for internal and external users and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- Advanced degree in life sciences or biomedical engineering-related disciplines required; PhD preferred.
- Ability to process quantitative datasets and broad comfort with statistics.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex space.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing project timelines.
