  • Provide feedback and lessons learned at project closeout
  • Facilitate the effective definition and management of data architecture, including principles, strategies, architectures, methods, models, standards, guidelines, and plans
  • Promote data models and practices that reduce redundancy through reuse and sharing
  • Identify and document enterprise data requirements
  • Promote practices that improve data quality
  • Develop and lead transition plans guiding current data to its ideal future state
  • Lead or assist communication activities concerning Sectors and Government of Alberta Enterprise Architecture data architecture
  • Contribute to the enterprise architecture framework and corporate solution design and delivery methods
  • Respond to requests for extensions to the data architecture scope
  • Provide advice, guidance, and consultancy to initiatives and projects aligning with the data architecture
  • Establish and participate in design and architectural reviews
  • Support other enterprise architecture team members as required

  • Experience creating data design and mapping specifications
