About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to closing
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline from first contact to close
  • Conduct outbound acquisition including cold outreach, cold calling, and LinkedIn and email outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads generated by content and marketing efforts
  • Perform structured lead qualification using frameworks such as MEDDIC
  • Identify technical and economic pain points of industrial customers
  • Position as a strategic sparring partner and manage software demos
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate and close deals, including structuring pilots and PoCs
  • Develop won accounts further and identify upsell potential
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Professionalize the sales process, sales stages and CRM hygiene in HubSpot
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences and sector events
  • Pipeline reporting and KPI management to executive leadership
  • Feed market and competitive feedback into product and content
  • Work closely with executive management, content/marketing and the consulting team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Clear, demonstrable track record as a successful closer with achieved or exceeded targets and closed deals
  • Closing mindset and ability to drive the sales cycle independently
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn about industrial energy systems and energy-market topics
  • Confident communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders at management and plant/factory levels
  • Independent, structured work style and discipline in pipeline and CRM management
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Experience with long, multi-stage sales cycles and buying centers on the industrial side is an advantage
  • Network in energy-intensive industries is an advantage
  • Understanding of energy-market or regulatory topics is an advantage
  • Experience with full-cycle sales and frameworks such as MEDDIC/MEDDPICC is an advantage
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRM systems is an advantage
  • Technical or engineering background is an advantage
